Read MorePosters for the Brewdog beer brand
The Challenge:
As part of my design studies, I was given the opportunity to design posters for BrewDog, a brand known for its bold, rebellious spirit. The challenge was to create visuals that not only capture BrewDog’s unapologetic attitude but also allow room for creativity, humor, and a fresh perspective. This project was my chance to break the rules, have fun, and push my design in unexpected directions.
The Solution:
I designed two posters, each with a playful and subversive twist. In the first, I illustrated vast green fields in a clean, vector style, with BrewDog’s signature canine front and center—nonchalantly urinating in the landscape. The contrast between the serene setting and the irreverent act adds a layer of humor and perfectly embodies the brand’s rebellious edge.
For the second poster, I took a 17th-century Flemish painting depicting a grand drinking scene and transformed it with chaotic, hand-drawn doodles. By defacing this classical artwork, I created a visual clash between high culture and BrewDog’s raw, punk-inspired energy.
This project was my playground—an opportunity to let loose, embrace my creativity, and have fun with design while staying true to BrewDog’s daring personality.
