Read MoreThe Challenge:
Lilleoplevelse is both a ship and a small farm community in Svartlöga, Sweden—home to animals, handmade wine and cider, sailing, art, and shared experiences. The challenge was to create a brand identity that could hold all these worlds together: land and sea, craft and community, hosting and participation—while keeping the experience intimate and human.
The Solution:
I created a visual identity rooted in the idea of attachment and presence. The core symbol is inspired by Balanomorpha, a sea creature that clings to ships and becomes part of them over time—much like the people who arrive and take part in the process.
A warm, earthy color palette reflects the farm, the animals, and small-scale production, while hand-drawn black-and-white illustrations depict the ship, the landscape, and everyday moments. These illustrations appear on wine and cider labels and across the visual system, reinforcing a sense of craft, slowness, and storytelling.
The result is a cohesive identity that reflects Lilleoplevelse’s philosophy: small magic, shared making, and meaningful experiences—where guests are invited to participate, not just observe, and where the process itself is the destination.
