The label’s artwork is inspired by the winery’s new vineyards, where the grapes are carefully hand-harvested with exceptional selectivity. Reflecting this meticulous process, the design features hand-drawn illustrations. The vineyard is illustrated in detail, with the Recanati flower logo subtly woven into the background. Above it, the mountain is artistically depicted and cut, creating a unique layered effect. This distinctive label mirrors the extraordinary quality of the wine it represents.

This project was born from Recanati Winery’s need to refresh its visual identity. As one of Israel’s leading wineries, Recanati recently launched a new visitor center and updated its logo, prompting a redesign of its labels to align with this new chapter. The winery entrusted us with the challenge of translating its story, heritage, and unique terroir into a fresh, compelling design language.

Our design approach focused on balancing tradition with innovation. We crafted the new labels to maintain a strong connection to the winery’s essence while introducing modern visual elements that reflect its evolution. This process was particularly crucial for their flagship series, Odem, and their winemaking collection, HaGalil, both of which required distinct yet cohesive identities.

By understanding Recanati’s vision and the depth of their craft, we delivered a design that not only tells their story but also elevates the consumer’s experience. The result is a label that embodies the winery’s dedication to excellence while visually expressing the uniqueness of its wines
