The Challenge:
Launching a new line of fermented products in Spain, starting with sauerkraut, required a brand identity that would stand out on the shelves while capturing the handcrafted essence of the product. It needed to feel artisanal, exciting, and inviting—something that sparks curiosity and encourages people to embrace the world of fermentation.Fermented foods can sometimes feel niche or unfamiliar, so the design had to break down those barriers and create an immediate sense of joy and approachability. At the same time, it was important to build a flexible branding system that could seamlessly expand to future products in the line.
The Solution:
To bring this vision to life, I designed a visual identity that celebrates the magic of fermentation in a fun and dynamic way. Hand-drawn illustrations highlight the natural and homemade feel of the product, while playful typography and vibrant colors add energy and warmth. Every design choice was made to reflect the joy of opening a jar filled with bold, tangy flavors.
Beyond aesthetics, I developed a branding system that allows for easy expansion as new products are introduced. Each label maintains a cohesive identity while giving every flavor its own distinct personality. The result is a brand that invites customers in, sparks curiosity, and turns every jar into an exciting experience.
